Cross Bores was recorded over the span of four years. Roughly half of the album was recorded sporadically from 2016-2019 (mostly in London, ON – some in NYC), with the other half being recorded in the thick of the first stretch of the COVID-19 pandemic during the spring and summer of 2020. The result is a mix of pre-COVID sounds, meshed with recordings directly inspired by the isolation, uncertainty, and fear that so many of us felt during the year of 2020.
Recorded, mixed, and mastered by The Economy.
Artwork by Evan Martin.
Thanks to APDAP for going out of their comfort zone to put this out. Thanks to Evan for the artwork. Thanks to Lenny Bruce for testing his microphone.
